How To Apply For A Position
|
- Identify the job(s) you are interested in
It's alright to be interested in multiple positions, in fact it shows your willingness to work, and your potential with our company. Those willing to expand their horizons have better opportunities.
- Develop a Resume for each job position
Keep the Resume within 1 page. Be Short, If we want to know more, we'll give you a call.
- Send a Personal Synopsis (Optional)
First, tell us about yourself. Tell us what interested you in our company, what you like or hate about us. Where you see that you fit into our company. Give us a quick shot about your social life, music life, etc. Be straight honest with us, don't try and be someone you are not, in an interview, we will be asking you about this synopsis. You may also submit social network site links, or copies of your social networking profiles (if private), but don't send them as your only synopsis. While this is Optional, it is highly suggested! We also recommend it being hand written, but typed is alright as well. We are not looking for something professional here!
- Send an Air / Video Check (Optional)
If you are applying for a position who is going to be involved in sales, make us a video about yourself versus a synopsis on paper (you can do both or either or). If you just want to show your creative side, your welcome to do this as well. For those who want to be on radio, we require an air-check, but are welcome to send a video one as well. Video's preferred on CD or DVD.
- Send Letters of Recommendation from Officials (Optional)
If you have any letters of recommendation or accomidation from Teachers, School Officials, Prior Employers, or a Government Representative, we welcome them.
- Send it all to our Human Resources Department

Orlando, FL 32853-6727
Be patient. We post job listings sometimes days or months in advance of our need. This is intentional so that we receive the most amount of potential candidates possible.
Do not resubmit for the same position for 2 years. Contiga Broadcasting keeps a record of all resumes received by our office for 2 years, sometimes longer. So don't think if you didn't hear back that its no chance. Our business needs change daily. However, if you have new qualifications, or an update to your resume, you are welcome to send it to us
If your contact information changes, just shoot us a quick note, no need to submit a new resume.
Don't call. This isn't something we would recommend. Our Human Resources department spends much time reading through resumes and performing daily tasks. If we have anything for you, we will get in touch with you. If you need to make sure your resume gets to us, have it delivery tracked.
If you find a new position of interest, just shoot us a new resume. If your personal synopsis may have changed dramatically, feel free to send a new one, and we'll replace the one we have on file.
